Decluttering your possessions can be really daunting at first. After all, you have probably put a lot of time, money, and energy into acquiring and maintaining these possessions. After you've decluttered a space, you may be left with many big ticket or brand new items that you'd like to sell. Whether you're strapped for cash or just can't let the item go without trying to sell it, I've got a list of some great places to sell your items and earn cash quickly. If you need a little help figuring out what to declutter, check out these related articles:
1. Poshmark
Poshmark is an excellent app you can use to quickly and easily sell your decluttered items. I love using Poshmark! It's really easy to list items and even easier to ship them. The company sends you a prepaid shipping label. Simply tape it to the box, and take it to the post office. That's it! Poshmark is mainly used to sell clothing, shoes, and accessories. They do have a miscellaneous category where you can list other items. For example, I sold a baby monitor in that category. So, grab your smaller, lightweight items, and get to poshing!

2. eBay
Although not my first choice, eBay is still a great option for selling used items. You can sell most anything. You will first need to determine a shipping price. While it is nice to list an item with very low or even free shipping, think carefully before doing this. Know that if the item weighs very much at all, you will get a large chunk taken out of your profit for shipping costs. It's a tricky game, so do your research before you list items.

3. Facebook Marketplace
If you have large or heavy items, Facebook Marketplace is probably the way to go when selling something. You can meet people in the area and exchange the item for payment. Unfortunately, not everyone shows up as promised. So, keep that in mind. Also, be careful when meeting people you don't know. Never give out your home address to strangers, and always meet in a well-lit and populated area. Risking your safety isn't worth a few dollars, so be wise. If you do find a reputable buyer, it's probably worth the effort if you don't have to travel far.
4. Mercari
I haven't used Mercari yet, but it appears to be very similar to Poshmark. There are no listing fees, and the company sends you a prepaid shipping label. If you've used this website, please let me know your experience in the comments. I'd love to get a personalized review of this service!

5. ThredUp
ThredUp is another one that I haven't used yet, but I've heard great reviews from buyers on the site. The company will send you a FREE Clean Out Kit. You fill up the package with gently used clothing items and return it to them using the prepaid shipping label. After inspection, they will list qualifying items and send you a payout when items sell. Easy peasy! I think I would try this if I had a lot of items to get rid of and a limited amount of time to deal with them.
