Pantry Labels (Easy DIY)

I can't say enough about how important it is to organize your space. While decluttering should be your first goal, the importance of organizing should not be understated. Recently, I have been working on making my pantry more beautiful and functional. I want it to be easy to find exactly what I need, while still looking lovely.

I planned to cut these labels on white vinyl, but I didn't have any. Since I was in major crafting mode, I went ahead and used this teal color that I had on hand. I don't regret that decision at all! I generally stick to using home decor in shades of blue, white, and gray. I really love colors that complement the beach, so the teal is perfect!

Supplies:

Cutting Instructions:

Step 1: Log into Cricut Design Space. (This is a free program to use with your Cricut. You can also purchase additional fonts and images or get a subscription if desired.)

Step 2: Click the "New Project" button.

Step 3: Click "Text." Type in desired text. Click "Font" dropdown arrow. Select the font you want.

Step 4: Repeat Step 3 as many times as needed to create your labels. When finished, click "Make It." Click "Continue."

Step 5: When the cutting button on your Cricut starts blinking, push it to begin cutting. Click "Unload" to remove vinyl from Cricut machine.

Application Instructions:

Step 1: Pull vinyl sheet off Cricut mat.

Step 2: Use weeding tool to remove excess vinyl pieces.

Step 3: Cut around label leaving some space on the edges.

Step 4: Cut piece of transfer tape that is the same size as the label.

Step 5: Peel backing off transfer tape, and lay transfer tape sticky-side down on the label.

Step 6: Use scraper or craft stick to adhere transfer tape to label.

Step 7: Peel off vinyl backing.

Step 8: Place label onto desired surface, and use scraper tool to adhere label to surface.

Step 9: Carefully peel transfer tape away from the label. You may need to continue scraping as you peel the label.

Step 10: Run hand across the label to make sure all pieces are adhered to surface. Enjoy your beautiful creation! <3

I will continue working on getting all of my pantry labels completed. I can't wait to complete more home organization projects with my Cricut. Thanks so much for reading!
