My First 2 Weeks on WW (Weight Watchers)

I wanted to give an update on how my first two weeks of WW (Weight Watchers) went.


A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!


I have never been on an eating plan that I felt was this easy. Of course nothing is always easy, but WW is much easier than other diets I have tried in the past. I truly feel this plan is sustainable for me.



STATS: During the first two weeks, I lost a total of 10 lbs! I have worked out 13 out of 14 days. I have stayed within my allotted food points every single day. I am still working on getting more sleep. Since I get up at 4:30 a.m., this is sometimes difficult for me.


I have not once thought that the program was too difficult. I have still gotten takeout. I have still eaten dessert. I have still enjoyed many of my favorite foods. It's all about balance. No other diet plan I have tried has allowed me to truly find the balance I need in order to make a change that is sustainable for the long-term.

I love that the WW App rewards me for tracking my food, water, activity, and sleep every single day. They also award charms based on the amount of weight lost. It really is a great program!


I received my first charm for losing 5 lbs!


I also want to note some of my non-scale victories. I think those are very important in your weight loss journey. I am ashamed to admit this, but I haven't been able to wear my engagement ring and wedding ring for most of our marriage. Before I started WW, my current replacement ring was starting to get tight. It is now really loose! I can't wait to put on my real rings! I can already tell many of my clothes are fitting looser. I don't feel a constant need to eat. I don't dread taking the kids outside to play. I look forward to my daily walk. I can also tell my face is getting skinnier. So many wonderful changes are happening. I can't wait to see what happens next! I'll be back with another update soon.
