In the near future, I will be sharing a mini guide to purposeful planning. In that guide, I will share why it is so important to plan, as well as tons of tips for helpful planning in your daily life. (SNEAK PEEK IMAGE BELOW!)
Whether you work at home or away from home, it is very easy to become overwhelmed with all of the daily activities that need to be completed. These may include running errands, completing work assignments, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, working out, helping children with homework, spending quality time with your family, finding a quiet time with God, etc. I have found that the simple aspect of writing down my priorities helps to ground me in the day ahead. I know what is expected of me, and I can prioritize items based on importance.
Often, I get bogged down trying to find the "perfect" planner. But honestly, a simple sheet of paper can work just as well. If you write everything down, it gets it out of your mind so you can better rest and relax. It can also be a wake-up-call if you're trying to do too much. It is important to give yourself grace. Always work hard, but make sure to take some time for yourself. As the old saying goes, you can't pour from an empty cup.
Today, I'm sharing a simple one-page daily planning sheet. You can print a new copy each day or laminate one for re-use. You write in the date, important things to remember, your top to-do list items, daily schedule, and notes. You even track your water, so you are sure to keep yourself hydrated throughout your busy day.
If you find yourself getting overwhelmed with all of the fancy planners and custom schedules, allow yourself to start off with a simple post-it note or this daily planning sheet. It will give you the same result, but without all the stress. Click the image below for a FREE DOWNLOAD.
A reminder if you're feeling overwhelmed: Hebrews 4:16 - "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." God's grace will carry you through, and my prayers are with you.
BONUS TIP: If you put a sheet of paper in a page protector, it automatically becomes dry erase! Amazing, huh?!
Thanks for visiting my website. I hope this planning page helps you plan more and be less anxious about the things to come.
