As a former teacher and lover of all things educational, I spent a great deal of time researching homeschool curriculums. I finally decided on the Good and the Beautiful (more about this in another post). While this curriculum is excellent, I felt the need to supplement with some additional materials in order to provide my daughter with additional practice in certain areas. This book has been instrumental in creating a positive attitude in the homeschool classroom. Each page has a place to draw a picture of your favorite part of the day, write the date and 3 things you're thankful for, as well as who brought you joy and how you feel overall.
This book contains 22 units of spelling words. Each spelling list contains 4 pages of practice, including tracing, writing, matching, and filling in the blank. This book has really helped my daughter improve her spelling, reading, and handwriting skills. I highly recommend this extra practice for any student who struggles with spelling!
This book contains Bible stories in an easy-to-read format that is the perfect way to get your beginning reader interested in the Bible. While my daughter does not usually enjoy reading, I find her wanting to read more and more of this book. What a blessing!
I am definitely a planner at heart, and this book has helped me keep our homeschool plans on track. There is a 2-page weekly spread that allows me to list each school subject with the lesson for that day. The state of North Carolina requires homeschool parents to keep a log of daily lesson plans and activities. This planner meets that requirement and helps me make sure I cover all necessary activities for the day.

I feel sure I will be back in the future with more recommendations, but I hope you will find some of these products useful in your homeschooling or classroom endeavors. Thanks so much for reading. Have a blessed day!
Until next time,
