This is my go-to smoothie! It is healthy, pretty, and delicious! What more could you ask for?
This smoothie is vegan, dairy free, gluten free, and green. I am a picky eater, and even I love it! I was a little skeptical of "green smoothies" to start with. If you are, I dare you to try it. If I like it, most anyone will! Even my 2 year-old loves it! And, as the picture conveys, it doesn't even look green! I found this idea on Pinterest, but changed a few ingredients. I included the link to the original recipe at the end of the post. Enjoy!

Blueberry Almond Smoothie (Vegan, Dairy free, Gluten free, Green)
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/4 cup coconut water
2 tbsp flax seed
1/2 banana
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 handful spinach
Blend together until smooth.
Yield: 16 oz.
Note: Coconut water can be expensive, so I often use tap water instead. I don't think it tastes much different.
